EXCESS WATER IN ENGINE BAY
The C8 Chevrolet Corvette has been gradually making its way into the hands of eager customers. Canadian owner Morgan Crosbie has been documenting his experience with the new 'Vette, which will serve as his daily driver. Recently, he took his white C8 Corvette for its first spray car wash, highlighting the importance of engine bay protection.
In an interesting twist, Crosbie opted for a wand-style car wash, carefully spraying the back hatch as if it were caught in a rainstorm. He observed how the water cascades down the rear hatch into the vents and a small gutter designed to catch it. However, when he opened the glass, the water flowed directly into the engine bay. For C8 Corvette accessories enthusiasts, this incident underscores the need for effective protection solutions like TruSeal Wash Protection to safeguard the engine bay from water accumulation.
